Sri Lanka Space Observation is designed as a national-facing OFFICIAL network for astronomy, solar observation, Earth observation, telescope education, remote sensing and public sky science. The lion holding the sword is the dominant identity mark, with the Southern Cross used whenever stars appear.
ONE NETWORK. THREE WAYS TO LOOK.
This site separates astronomical observation, solar observation and Earth observation so the public can immediately understand the difference between looking outward into the universe, monitoring the Sun, and using satellites to study Sri Lanka itself.

THE COUNTRY ALREADY HAS REAL OBSERVATION INFRASTRUCTURE.
The OFFICIAL network is designed to amplify and explain existing Sri Lankan astronomy and Earth-observation capability rather than falsely claiming to own it.
ACCIMT says it was designated Sri Lanka's National Focal Point for Space Technology Applications.
ACCIMT says the UN/ESA Basic Space Science workshop led to commissioning of the GOTO 45 cm telescope donated by Japan.
ACCIMT describes the 45 cm system as Sri Lanka's largest optical telescope facility, supporting astronomy research and education.
ACCIMT's CALLISTO station observes solar radio bursts and participates in an international solar-radio observation ecosystem.

OBSERVATION SHOULD BE SOMETHING PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE.
ACCIMT currently advertises school visits to its telescope facility and teacher training with hands-on telescope observation. This site turns that public-science pattern into a broader OFFICIAL network experience: observation nights, school programs, teacher modules, sky calendars and public explainers.
LOOKING DOWN IS AS IMPORTANT AS LOOKING UP.
ACCIMT's Space Applications Division describes remote-sensing and GIS activity including Earth-observation data distribution, land-use mapping, agricultural drought monitoring and crop monitoring. Sri Lanka Space Observation treats those as a second observation pillar alongside astronomy.
THE LION WITH THE SWORD LEADS EVERYTHING.
Every Sri Lanka/Lanka-related and Mars-related branch in this project must prominently feature the lion animal holding a sword as much as practical. On this site, the lion is embedded into the master seal, wordmark system and observatory artwork. It should continue into event posters, observation badges, telescope-night passes, report covers and educational materials.
